Real Time Wage Opinions!
Popularity is increasing with regard to Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) studies for employee wage/salary.
In this competitive market for employees, we must assume that our best people have other offers and are quite possibly being aggressively recruited by others.
We are all aware that offering too little or too much adversely impacts your overall HR bottom line.
HRS, of course, maintains a full library of compensation surveys across standard job descriptions.
However, by the time this information is surveyed, compiled, published and distributed… it is generally already outdated.
It is certainly wise to gather up-to-the-minute wage data wherever possible.
CMA's (aka wage opinions) are available at any time through HRS. Such findings are immediate and look across a multitude of employers who compete for the same applicants…
Also, please be wary of researching only your company’s own industry for wage studies.
You may be competing for employees with other industries as well. CMA's are complimentary whenever HRS is contracted to assist with the position in question.
Changes at HRS… Our Behavioral Assessment Center
(HRSAC) has certainly experienced rapid growth via increased volume of success stories and client interest. Some of you may have noticed changes with your primary contact person here at HRS. Founding President & CEO, Phyllis Pinter, is now focusing primarily as Behavioral Assessment consultant to HRS as she enjoys the benefits of longstanding achievement.
Never fear… she’s still accessible! Jessica Ollenburg remains President and has added CEO to her title.
We are pledged to provide more of the best!
"Commit to Kids" still grows!!
Most recent and current activity at HRS includes sponsorship or direct involvement with the following youth programs…
Area highschool career workshops, Junior Achievement, Special Olympics, MACC fund, Toys For Tots, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, Arthritis Foundation, The Milwaukee Public Museum,
Elmbrook Little League and local community fundraisers. We will proudly and happily partner to co-sponsor these programs. Please call us if you’re interested in such a partnership.
Yes!!! You CAN get reference checks today… The HR grapevine indicates that several employers are giving up on past-employer reference checks.
We agree that it is significantly more complex in today’s "right to privacy" and litigation arena.
However, it’s not as legally risky (performed correctly) as some might think, and we at HRS wish to remind still strongly advocate the benefits.
Applicants are, more than ever, taking advantage of the low probability that employers will check, and resume falsification is, in fact, even more popular.
We recommend a strong review of legal requirements, including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Once employers have done so or chosen to outsource (please think of HRS), we recommend not giving up.
Certain questions and statements will facilitate the effort. A wealth of critical information is still being gained to safeguard hiring efforts!
Logo Confusion??
Recently we have been approached by several perplexed clients and associates who have noticed the recent emergence of logo similarity. (Please note the human figure in our block letter "R").
Our logo has been trademarked for 17 years, and we have been assured that we shall soon regain our proprietary "uniqueness." In the meantime,
please be wary of corporate logo similarity, and please remember us… HRS/Human Resource Services, Inc.
Resource Library is a Hit!!
Our longstanding library of case studies, legal updates, surveys, statistics and training materials continues to grow as our treasured clients’ demand escalates. For 17 years we have offered our research of these materials, and we are providing our clients, in their own quest for data, the checkout of our materials for their own use. Please think of HRS amidst your research endeavors!
HRS Surveys and Statistics… This publication is distributed semiannually and has received great positive feedback. These compilations provide a quick overview of the most relevant and "hot" topics we find across our vast library of HR management resources. Please call if you have missed this piece or would like to add someone in your organization to our mailing list.

Presently, we are hyperlinked by several recruitment websites and we enjoy frequent e-mail correspondence.

Personal e-mail addresses are available upon request.
