Jessica Bare Ollenburg, CMC,  CPCM

Our President & CEO offers 28 years Organizational Development, HR Management and Entrepreneurial Business Leadership.  An internationally certified Teambuilding Consultant, Jessica authors, trains, consults and speaks on both employer and employee issues.  She is recognized as one of the longest standing experts researching and proving the link between human and financial resources on both sides of the hiring desk and is called upon regularly by television, radio, print media, academia and leadership forums to discuss new findings and new strategies in Behavioral Assessment, Leader Assessment, Human Capital, Performance Management, Employee Retention, Motivation and Teambuilding concepts.  Recent media attention.

Successful groundbreaking consultant and founding leader of our firm, Jessica offers a wealth of case studies and continuous research in attracting, appropriately selecting, retaining, developing and engaging employees... profitably and within legal compliance.  With MBA, graduate law and industrial psychology studies and the earliest BSBA in HR Management from Marquette University, Jessica continues to instruct at both graduate and undergraduate levels.  Working with and commended by the Mayor's office, Ollenburg founded and chaired the New Berlin HR Committee (representing 600+ employers) which served as the successful prototype to local and national HR councils and health care coalitions.

Certification was first granted in 1995 by the Institute of Management Consultants based in New York with international recognition. This designation is acknowledged worldwide as a "mark of excellence" among management consulting professionals and is considered a rare achievement among otherwise non-accredited consulting professionals. Jessica was re-certified by the IMC and earned a third professional certification through the National Bureau of Certified Consultants.  These accreditation processes are lengthy and challenging, based upon casework, quantifiable results, logistical experience / education, examinations, board interviews and client testimonials.  Jessica has also served on certification panels and committees for both the IMC and HRMA/SHRM (during the formative years for PHR and SPHR certification programs).

A 10-year esteemed presenter and roundtable participant for The Executive Committee (TEC), and MMAC/COSBE, our CEO also regularly designs and administers corporate and community workshops.    Jessica has earned a wealth of client recognition from small, mid-sized and Fortune rated firms, strategic alliances, and receives significant media attention for expertise, tangible success and innovation.   Nominated for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Jess has consistently been proven a "visionary" by succeeding since 1983 in HR Outsourcing and specific Employee Retention and Human Capital Management programs others are still forming new businesses to emulate!  In a market where "temporary services" abounded, Jess took HRS in a different direction focusing upon retention concepts and paved the way!  As examples of her still popular early inventions, Ollenburg in 1987 designed and implemented one of the first software Applicant Tracking programs, in 1988 first coined and copyrighted the phrase "Direct Hire," in 1983 worked with Kronos and the former Control Data to create sophisticated labor tracking and reporting now internationally distributed!

Currently serving on the Arthritis Foundation Board of Directors, Jessica also advocates to Washington, DC, campaigning to increase federal support to arthritis research.  Recipient of the 2006 "Distinguished Service Award" from the Arthritis Foundation Wisconsin Chapter, Jessica is an inspired philanthropist.  In 2007, 2006 and 2002, our CEO hosted a Fox 6 "Weather in Your Backyard" broadcast as an awareness campaign and fundraiser specifically for Juvenile Arthritis.   Chairperson for HRS Commits to Kids and long term community/charity volunteer, Jessica chaired 2 consecutive Mystery Ball events for the Arthritis Foundation, breaking fundraising records at each event!   Tim Hoeksema, CEO of Midwest Express Airlines, and Wisconsin's Former First Lady, Sue Ann Thompson, served as honorary co-chairs.  www.arthritis.org

Ollenburg created and contributes to the firm's 2 highly successful and informative websites, www.HRSteam.com and www.AskHRS.com, both of which have earned multiple #1 worldwide unpaid search engine rankings for high traffic and valuable content.   Credited with breaking the "glass ceiling" on multiple occasions through accreditation, recognition and honor, our leader is among the very first women certified, recognized and called upon by successful world class CEO's for expertise and accomplishment within these fields!! The Journal/Sentinel, Inc. retained Jessica as a local expert to administer workshops for 8 consecutive Career Fairs.

A 22-year Junior Achievement advisor, partner or sponsor, 18-year college/high school speaker and a 5-year youth Athletic coach/volunteer, Jessica created the "HRS Commits to Kids" initiative and has consistently spearheaded a personal and professional campaign to "give back" to the community and "make a difference" in every way possible.

Recipient of the National Leadership Award from Washington, DC, Jessica has also been appointed to the Business Advisory Council, partnering with congressional committee.  Consistently offered contract to host her own nationally syndicated radio show plus invitations to CNN and Forbes.com, Jessica is a source expert called upon by the Wall Street Journal and other respected media.  She accepted invitation from Forbes Business & Technology in partnership with Sky Radio & America West Airlines.  Broadcast on international flights, Jessica profiled HRS as a leader in HR/OD Outsourcing in a program featuring esteemed speakers Madeleine Albright and President Jimmy Carter.
