On behalf of the New Berlin HR Committee, we
are writing to briefly update you on the NEW attention and international
recognition earned by New Berlin employers as a collective group! The
momentum we started has continued and snowballed into positive changes in the
business community to which we've offered a powerful voice and inspiration.
NBHRC still enjoys traffic at and high search engine rankings for our website. By grabbing media attention, as well as, the attention of
several hundred businesses, we've raised awareness and pinpointed demand which
thereafter resulted in solutions others have begun to provide. It is during our
existence, support and attention that chambers (including Waukesha) have
cultivated HR councils and dedicated roundtables. I am proud to inform
you that not only other cities but also other countries have approached us to
facilitate the establishment of public-private collaborative HR/OD committees in their
locales. The greatest solutions are often created by a
small group of concerned citizens!
To the hundreds of businesses who sponsored,
participated and showed support, we send this proud message of congratulations
for your efforts. For above and beyond support through sponsorship,
research and meeting participation, we thank (alphabetically) Attorney John

Although we didn't initially establish
ourselves as a health care alliance, timing and media dictated this an essential
initiative in 2003-4. We responded with education and a rare positive
collaborative model. This group of New Berlin employers has been instrumental
in revealing the problems with coalitions before us and pitfalls of conventional multi-employer trusts.
We helped employers find solutions. New employer
groups and solutions have emerged following our media attention and noted
efforts.
We acknowledge and appreciate the
strong support from the New Berlin business community. Those of
you who simply placed a phone call, participated in survey, replied by
e-mail or just visited our website have contributed to a difference.
Every effort counts! Without this strong collaboration, our efforts may
have been lost!
We welcome your comments!
